Families from across the UK join Joy-filled Holy Day Celebration!
Over 300 members from across the UK gathered to celebrate True Parents’ birthday and take part in the our annual National Service, with a further 200 people joining via livestream.
“We could do this more often,” remarked a father as his family was about to leave. “It is good to come together like this, as a real family.”
The programme featured songs by the Resonance Band, a beautiful holy table and family birthday cakes, live performances, Sunday School for three age groups, games, paper crane folding for True Mother’s health, and the signing of a large birthday card for True Parents.
The message from the national leader couple, Bogdan and Yoshiko Pammer, highlighted many reasons we can be grateful to True Parents for. Bogdan shared that “True Parents have given us everything that we need to be truly happy.” Yoshiko emphasised that parental love brought us together and enables us to transform Great Britain into a nation of sharing Great Blessings.
The celebration was also an opportunity to thank and recognise the newly inducted CheonBo couples — couples and families who have invested in uplifting and transforming neighbourhoods and communities across the globe.
The community is grateful to the staff and volunteers who made the day possible. Every day is a holy day if we come together to express our love for the good and meet each other from the heart. We are looking forward to many more inspiring Sundays throughout our FFWPU communities across the country.
